CIBOLA SPOTSMAN CLUB

I was invited to the fabulous CIBOLA SPORTSMAN CLUB in Arizona, which is about 26 miles south of Blythe, California along the Colorado River. The accommodations at CIBOLA are excellent. There are private cottages, bunkhouses, in-ground blinds with retractable tops, feeding areas, and planted decoys and operable mojos…and some very knowledgeable guides. The first day we saw plenty of geese and a few ducks, but downed only one greenhead. The second day we shot 6 mallards but again failed to get the big flocks of geese close enough. The guides said we were a little early in the season for the geese, so I am planning going back again a little later in the season.
